Certificate of Clearance (COC)
When applying for a visa or permanent residence in certian countries, a police certificate may be required to prove the applicants has no criminal record. A Certificate of Clearance (COC) is issued by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) to certify that a person has no criminal conviction within a stipulated period of time in Singapore.
Singaporean citizens above the age of 16 are able to directly apply for a Certificate of Clearance (COC) if the applicant is able to prove the need for it (e.g migration/adoption/overseas employment/further education).
In order for a non-Singapore citizen to apply for this certificate, they are first required to submit an appeal to the Singapore authorities that clearly proves the requirement of a COC. Only after the appeal is accepted will they be able to apply for the certificate.

Once the COC is issued, it will be delivered to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, you may opt to collect the certificate directly.
